Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to set up an indoor golf simulator at home?

At minimum, you'll need a launch monitor or simulator unit, hitting mat, impact screen or enclosure, and enough room height and width for a full swing. A projector adds a visual course experience, though some launch monitors can also connect to a TV or monitor for data-only practice.

How much space do I need for a golf simulator?

Most setups need at least 9-10 feet of ceiling height, around 15 feet of width for both right and left handed swings, and 12-16 feet of depth depending on the unit and screen distance. Exact requirements vary by product — check the specifications on each product page.

Do I need special golf balls or clubs to use a simulator?

It depends on the launch monitor technology. Many of our units work with your regular golf balls and clubs, while some older or budget photometric systems may require marked balls or clubs for accurate tracking. Product pages note this where relevant.

What's the difference between a launch monitor and a full simulator?

A launch monitor is the tracking hardware that measures your shot data (ball speed, spin, launch angle, etc). A full simulator combines that launch monitor with simulation software, an impact screen or enclosure, and typically a projector to create a complete virtual golf experience you can see and play.

Do you offer support if I'm not sure what to buy?

Yes — reach out any time and we'll help you figure out the right setup for your space, budget, and goals before you order.
